A short distance straight down Banks Street and you are on the Promenade where you will find Blackpool’s famous trams transporting visitors and locals alike towards the Pleasure Beach and Squires Gate in the south of the resort or north for Bispham, Cleveleys and Fleetwood.

Shopping

Situated just a short walk from Blackpool Town Centre and the Houndshill Shopping Centre, your shopping needs are well catered for.

For those who are looking for access to provisions during your stay, there is a large Sainsburys supermarket adjacent to Blackpool North Railway station. Smaller corner stores can be found within 100 yards of our front door. A free cash machine can be found at the corner of Dickson Road and Cocker Street.

Entertainment
Blackpool’s internationally acclaimed show bar, Funny Girls, is about 500 feet away. It’s home, Blackpool’s former Odeon cinema, was the largest of the original Odeons ever to be built. Acquired by In The Pink Leisure, the former stalls area was converted at a cost of over £ 2 million to create Funny Girls, repairing and restoring many of the original art-deco features.
Food and Drink
There are a variety of bars and pubs along Dickson Road, some offering meals for those who don’t wish to cater for themselves. Fish and Chips, a must at the seaside, along with a variety of other takeaways can also be found along Dickson Road. A little further towards town and you’ll find a selection of restaurants offering almost every style of international cusine.
